JACUELINE BUFKIN
Jacqueline Doraine Bufkin of Bay St. Louis, died Thursday, May 22, 2003, after a long illness.
Mrs. Bufkin was born April 18, 1921, in Chicago, growing up there and in Depot Harbor, Canada, before moving to Biloxi, then Pass Christian. She graduated St. Joseph?s School in the Pass in 1942. j	She and her husband Guy
recent celebrted their 61st wedding anniversary. The moved to Bay ST. Louis in 1951 and togehter opened and oeprated Bufkin?s TV & i	Appliance until they retired
in 1972.
Mrs. Bufkin was a tireless volunteer with the American Legion Auxiliary, where she received Outstanding Member of the |	Year honors in 1999-2000.
'	She was also a member of
the U.S. Coast Guard Aux. Flotilla 33 and the Hancock
I	County American Red
Cross. She was a former member of the Bay St. Louis Little Theatre and a charter member of the Pass Christian Isles Golf Club and an avid canasta player.

husband Guy; five children, including daugher Shirley and son-in-law Don Russum of Nashville; daughter Eleanor and son-in-law Norman Cory of Saucier; daughter Louise Bethel of Saucier; daughter-in-law Lisa and son Ron Bufkin of Dallas; and daughter-in-law Darlene and son Guy Edward Bufkin of Oxford, Ms.; 10 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Mariam Cheryll Bufkin, brother Edward W. Aubye and grandson Thomas Russum.
In accordance with her wishes, her body was doant-ed to medical science.
Memorials may be made in her name to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson?s Research or American Legion Post 139 Girls State Fund.
Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis is in charge of the arrangements.
