Mrs. Carmichael was Editor of The Light, newspaper in Bay St. Louis, for a number of years. She Is remembered for her editorials In which she chastised all whom she thought needed it. Mrs. Carmichael was bom Nov. 28, 1895, in Baltimore, Md., had reslded In Bay St. Louis for 33 years. She was also a former resident of the ?Canal Zone-; In recent years she was a real estate broker. She was the widow of the late Dr. Homer S. Carmichael of Bay St. Louis. Survivors Include three sons, Homer S. Carmichael, Jr., Slidell, La.; Lu-clen R. Carmichael, Bay St. Louis; and Henry E. Carmichael, Texas City, Tex. Funeral services were held at 1?30 p. m., Friday at the Main Street Methodist Church In Bay St. Louis with Rev. R. D. Walton, Pastor, officiating. Interment was In the Garden of Memories In Bay St. Louis.
