HONORABLE RICHARD MENDES. Honorable Richard Mendes has been appointed by Governor Vardanian a member of the Mississippi State Oyster : Commission for a term of five years, to succeed Honorable Frank J.- Ladner, ?whose commission had expired and who was not a candidate for re-appointment. ^ Governor Vardanian could not have aade a better appointment, in justice to The oyster interest, the people and to himself, and this appointment is fully in keeping with the many he has .made since his induction into office.
