days boiling sea water to extract the salt and bring home to preserve fresh pork and goat, and that this was their only source for salt. Martha Seal Boardman lived in her home in Pearlington until her death, Sept. 18, 1903. She is buried in Pearlington cemetery, with one of her sons buried on each (Daniel & Abram) side of her, some distance away from the above ground vault of her husband, Daniel Abram Boardman.

Harriet(Hattie) Boardman, born Apr. 7, 1856, in Pearlington.
She married Asa Russ and to them were born three sons; Abram (Abe), Roderick, and Albert. Their home in Pearlington was just about 100 yards north of the D.A. Boardman homestead.
All three of their sons became dentists.
A.	Abram Russ, born in Pearlington, Sep. 1880, married Virgie McClosky of New Orleans. They had no children of their own although Iska McClosky, a niece of Virgies grew up in their home. They lived for many years in Biloxi where Abe practiced dentistry in partnership with his brother Rod. In the late 1920's or early 1930's, they moved to New Orleans where Abe opened an office practicing dentistry. They remained in New Orleans for the balance of their lives. Dates of their deaths or places of interment are unknown.
B.	Roderick Russ, born in Pearlington, July	1882,	married	Alma
Weston of Logtown. They lived all their married years in Biloxi, where Rod practiced dentistry. Rod and Alma died and are buried in	They	had a son, Rod Jr., and a daughter, Elizabeth.
Sometime after World War II, Rod Jr. moved to Jackson where
he lived the remainder of his life, holding a position with Lamar Life Insurance Co. There is now living in Jackson Rod Russ III. Whether there are any other off spring is unknown.
The last information known about Elizabeth was that she had married and was living in or near St. Louis, MO.
C.	Albert Russ, born in Pearlington, Nov. 1887, was the youngest
of the three sons and was married twice. His first wife name was Josephine and the second was Delphine. No other information is known but there were no children from either marriage. He lived in Biloxi all his adult life practicing dentistry in partnership with his brother Rod, except for	two	years	service
in the Army during World War I.
A
