?We have to report to the FBI and the Hancock Civil Defense office every time something like this happens,? said Karl.
Karl said bomb threats were not something new to the area, but that it had been a couple of years since any number of incidents had occurred so closely together.	?
He said, ?At this time, these bomb threats at the Paddle Wheel are not connected to the one at GE Plastics (January 31).
?We feel very strongly that none are war-connected.?
Karl did say the sheriffs department was following some leads on the GE Plastics scare and expected some results shortly.
HHS reception to honor veterans

Willie R. Simpkins, 70, of Picayune, died Wedesday, Feb. 13, 1991, in Slidell, La.
