Marco J., Giardino, PhD is a research scientist in the Earth System Science Office at NASA's Stennis Space Center where he specializes in the application of remote sensing techniques to archaeology. His most recent archaeological work has been conducted at St. Stanislaus' Back School, Gainesville and Logtown. During his career, Marco has excavated sites in Italy, France, and in the Southeastern US. He received his Ph D in Anthropology from Tulane University in 1985.
