We pay tribute to the greatest Grandmother that ever lived. In my 36 years on this earth she was the only Grandmother I had the chance to know & love. Maw Maw was truly a saint in every sense of the word. She always had a smile and a kind word for anyone who was graced by her presence.
She never once complained about things she didn't have but rather the things she couldn't give. She never won any great awards but she left behind for us, a legacy of inspiration, faith and love. In her times of sickness and sadness and when fear shadowed over all of us around her, she quickly put our minds and hearts at ease with an aging smile and her quick sense of humor in one snappy line.
She showed no favoritism to us yet loved us all with a love that only a Grandmother could give and that all the treasures on earth could not replace.
She lived a long, happy, and fruitful life and setting the perfect example for us all, she lived it according to God's Word, leaving no stone unturned.
We should not be sad for Maw Maw Hover but happy for she will no longer know pain and suffering but joy and everlasting peace with God.
And if what the Bible says about entertaining angels unaware is true, then Grandmother was one of them and today has graduated with the highest honors that Heaven allows. We all love you dearly Maw Maw and will miss you greatly.
