Son of the late Dr. and Mrs. .John Ames Mead, Dr. Mead' was. bom in Logtown, Miss. He was 61 years old and lived at 115 North 22nd ave. He was educated at the Soule Business college In New Orleans and was graduated from Vanderbilt university in Nashville, Tenn, in 1914. -
Dr. Meal practiced in his home town of Logtown 10 years and served as Hancock .county health officer six years. He was one of the first leaders of the organization of the Boy Scout movement on the Gulf coast. His late father was the first physician to practice medicine in Logtown. ,	.;	...	%

4	"p. in. Tuesday 'at Main Street Methodist church.- Dr. W. A. Hall, pastor of a Presbyterian church in Jackson, will officiate. He will be assisted by Dr. B. M.
