At the beginning of the	year 1913, Reverend	Carl M. O'Neal took charge of the
work	by appointment	from the	State Mission Board	and served as "half time" Pastor for
two years. The church authorized him to close the contract for painting and lighting the church and to equip the church with seats not to exceed $350.00. The church authorized him to negotiate a loan of $100.00 with Merchants Bank of Bay St. Louis for partial payment to American Seating Company for church seats. Reverend O'Neal also led in building a baptistry in the church. An organized Sunday Schcxjl and W.M.S. were also begun during his ministry.
From 1915-1920	Reverend	J. W. Weathersbv of	Silver Creek and Reverend H. C. Roberts
of Biloxi served as	Pastors.	In 1915 payment of	one dollar for printing to the Sea
Coast Echo was authorized. During that year $25.00 was pledged to State Missions. Delegates were elected to Gulf Coast Baptist Association meeting in Long Beach. In 1917 the church applied to State Convention Board for help in paying pastor's salary of $300.00. On December 16, 1917 the pastor ordained Dr. P. G. Pope. H. 0. French, and W. W. Stockstill as church elected deacons. Home Missions was $37.50, Foreign Missions $10.00 and State Missions $41.03.
On March 3, 1918 it was reported that the city of Bay St. Louis offered to purchase a part of the church lot. for $150.(X) extending from a ixiint twenty feet west of the west side of church building between Esterbrcxik Street and Cedar Rest Cemetery. The money was to be used to purchase another lot for the Parsonage. On December 4,
1919 the church voted to raise the pastors salary from $300.00 to $400.00. In 1920 Reverend H. C. Roberts left and was replaced by J. F. -Tolmston from Baptist Bible Institute. He was called as half-time pastor. During this year the Baptist Young Peoples Union was organized. It was voted to put a copy of the Baptist Record in even,' home of the membership.
