I am this little town by the bay 1 am the church, I am the schools, and the children that play. I am the roses that are red and violets sometimes blue. I am what this town was and is, as well as its future too. After all these years, I found my real purpose. They might not need me, but to me they are priceless. Watching over girls to make sure they have shade helping them with any problem, or giving them any aid. When my leaves begin to change, everything seems to be new. New girls walking around is not just strange, but seeing them growing up is too. So, as the world changes around, I remain the same. Standing high from sky to ground, finally earning a name. Lastly, Roses are red, And violets are blue. But the credit of my name goes out to all of you. by Concordia Hotard Graduating Class of 2014 (written in September 2013)
