Hancock census, she is clearly the oldest child in the family that year. She is buried in Cedar Grove cemetery according to descendants, with an old broken headstone.
Elizabeth is said to have had “red hair” by family members that remember her. This and the following information were supplied by elderly relatives to include: Mrs. Tena Smith, Mrs. Eva Bounds, Mrs. Zora Patton, and Mrs. Nita Wheat from in or around Picayune, MS in 1973-1977. The following is the known descendants of Richard “Dick” Miller, Jr. and Elizabeth “Betsey” Brown:
A.	Eliza Mathilda Miller - is listed in the 1900 census of Harrison County, MS as a widow. Eliza is listed as “bom Dec. 1868” while the census taker also shows her as “age 42” (1858). The “Dec. 1868” is clearly wrong because we know she married in 1872. She is also listed in the 1910 Harrison County census as age 53 (1857). Eliza married Joseph Wood on February 21, 1872 according to their record in Hancock County Court House and a second time to J. E. Nelson on May
2,	1901 in Harrison County, MS. She resided last in the Saucier, MS, area and is buried in the McHenry, MS, cemetery. She had the following children:
1.	Ellen Wood - married John D. Langston, married on June 6, 1890 in St. Tammany Parish, LA, and resided in New Orleans, LA. She and children are in the 1920 census of New Orleans. Ellen is listed as “E. R. Langston, age 39 (1881), and bom in MS. Ellen died in New Orleans in 1959 at age 85 years, 9 months, and 20 days (1874). They had: Will, Forrest, James, Daisy, Elovie, and Rosie.
2.	Richard Wood - bom in April 1876 per 1900 census. He married Elizabeth “Bessy” Hickman and resided in Kiln, MS. They had: Wiley (resided in Gulfport), Olivia, Otis, Obeda (died at around age 15), Warren, Ophelia, and Hattie.
3.	Mary Magdeline Wood - bom in April 1881 per 1900 census. She married Christopher Columbus “Lum” Swilley and resided in McHenry, MS. Her daughter, Ester, said she was bom on January 1, 1880 and died February 24, 1976. She had: Sherman, Ester, Grace, Luther, Daisy, Floyd, Mildred, and Fomby.
4.	Charlotte M. Wood - bom in 1883 per 1910 Harrison County census. She married first to John Pearce, second to Alex Martin, and resided in Brooklyn, MS. By John Pierce, she had: Onnie, Preston (resided in Purvis, MS), Eddie, Chester, and Eva. By Alex Martin, she had: Ethel.
5.	Charles Wood - bom in January 1886 per 1900 Harrison County census. No further information.
6.	James R. “Jim” Wood - bom in February 1889 per 1900 census of Harrison County. He married first to Auretta Burge, second to Emma J. King, and resided in Saucier, MS. By Auretta, he had: Archie, Etta, and J.D. By Emma, he had: Bonnie, Robert, Levert, Joseph, and Mary.
7.	Samuel “Sam” Wood - bom in April 1890, married Ella Shalls, and resided in Biloxi, MS. They had: Sherman, Rosie, Elkins, Edna, Liza, Joseph, and three other children that died as infants. He later married Nancy Vamado and finally to Margaret Forehand.
