Snecial urder No. 99, a & I G 0, by command of the Secretary of uar, 23 April 1863, shows 1st Lieutenant J. H. Sylvester, Co. I, 23rd Alabama Infantry Regiment, resigned and resignation accented.
No other data is shown on either of the above references.
