Pass Christian is getting help in many ways from many places, including this ambulance from Baytown, Tex. jess Navarre, president of Baytown Ambulance Service, donated the 1960 Cadillac ambulance to the city. Mayor J. J. Wittmann was presented the keys to the
vehicle by Frank Dunaway, president of the Mississippi Jaycees. The Mississippi and Texas Jaycees assisted in making arrangements for the donation.

Jaycees Aid Hurricane	; Victims
Biloxi Jaycee President, Pat' Byrd, said today that Jaycee I assistance had been received from throughout the country and that many gifts are still being received.	|

The Mississippi Jaycees alsoi donated $37,500 to the WE CARE fund, Byrd said. The Mississippi Jaycees also started a national Jaycee project of highway holdups that were to be held Sept. 13 and 14, no results were available at this time.
Byrd also mentioned that the Biloxi Jaycees. had ..given assistance to many Biloxi residents.
North Carolina Jaycees Plan Relief Effort
I The Jaycees of North Carolina have joined the massive nationwide relief effort to heip victims of Hurricane Camille by coordinating a drive to send priority gocds to this area.
Baby items, medicines, bedding and food are being assembled throughout North Carolina for delivery by cargo transport. A token gift representative of the larger donation arrived | Wednesday at the Gulfport Mun-I icipal Airport.
Jim Gillis, president of the North Carolina Jaycees, said in a statement “It is our fervent hope that this gift, these ; efforts, will in some small ! way ease the . pain, suffering, [despair and destru ction which have come to you. The hearts and sympathy of all North Carolinians come with us.”
Truckers, volunteer workers, the National Guard and the business community of North Carolina have assisted in the drive.
