Phil Coltoff, Director of the Children’s Aid Society, was the keynote speaker on Saturday. Mr. Coltoff s caring personality (and that of his beautiful wife Kay) proved he wanted to be of help to all who asked.
Wendy Hearn previewed a documentary on Orphan Trains on Friday evening. OTHSA purchased a copy for the archives. Many good responses were heard about the documentary.
Bill and Sunday Landkamer offered to come early and help at the reunion, so they “hit the ground running” so to speak.
Thursday morning when Mary Ellen and her daughter Mary Renee began to arrange things the Landkamers pitched right in, and over a box of newsletters introduced themselves.
Goodbyes were said when packing away materials on Monday morning as Reunion ’89 was over.
