GAUTIER PASCAGOULA architectural elements are evident in the home’s columns, moldings and mantels that were milled on the premises from New Zealand woods. Extending to the second level, the columns and arched fireplace soften the contemporary feel of this remarkable seaside home. Original paintings of well-known local artists Joe Moran, Opal Smith, and Billy Solatario are arrayed with an eclectic mix of antique and modern furnishings. Notable antiquities and collections include an original Chinese rice basket, a Masada pot dating to 400 B.C., Chilean pottery, sculptures and an 18th century piecrust framed 70” mirror. Visitors may linger on the decks to enjoy exceptional views, or walk the shoreline before exiting through terraced stucco-walled gardens of award-winning John Arledge Day Lilies. Floral arrangements throughout the house will feature indigenous plant material from the landscape to emphasize the art of living with our environment. Refreshments will be served. PASCAGOULA 12.
