4.	Solomon “Sol” McArthur, Jr. - bom September 16, 1867 according to O. L. G. baptism record and died on October 20, 1944 according to Ervin Ladner’s records. He lived in Pearlington and married first to Wilamena F. “Mena” Mayfield. They married on March 5, 1889 according to Hancock County Marriage Book, showing she was a “Cuevas.” They had one son, Marion Frances McArthur who was bom on April 17, 1892 and died on January 3, 1968. Marion Frances married Katie LaFontaine, daughter of Louis LaFontaine and Virginia Cuevas of Lakeshore, MS, and they lived in Biloxi. Marion had a son called Marvin McArthur who lived in Biloxi and a daughter called Viola that died at 18 months of age. Sol and Mena divorced, and she remarried to Theodore Gutierrez and had more children by him. She and her descendants settled in the Biloxi area. Sol remarried to Mary Virginia Mitchell and had two more children in Pearlington by her:
a.	Wilber Wallace McArthur - bom October 23, 1899 and lived in Pearlington. He married Abbey Giveans and had a large family. He gave us a full list of his own descendants, as well as those of his brother which are in the original notes of this research should they be needed.
b.	George W. McArthur - married Estelle LaFontaine and lived in Pearlington. They had five children there.
5.	Sarah Elizabeth “Eliza” or “Liz” McArthur - bom September 10, 1870 according to her baptism record. She lived in Pearlington and married William “Tod”
Smith. She had no children.
6.	Joseph McArthur - bom May 16, 1872 and lived in Pearlington. He never married. His birth date is listed in Our Lady of the Gulf Church baptisms.
7.	James Lott McArthur - bom March 12, 1874 according to his baptism record at
O.	L. G Church. He died on February 21, 1965 and is buried in the rear of Pearlington Cemetery according to his elderly wife. He married Elizabeth Thigpen (she was previously married to a Henson), and they had no children of their own. They did however raise two of his nieces, Maude and Rita Favre -children of his sister, Nettie.
8.	Anna “Nettie” McArthur - bom in 1880 according to her baptism record at Annunciation Church in Kiln, MS. She appears in the 1880 Hancock County census as “Ella” at age one. Nettie’s first husband (common law?) was Beauregard Favre, and they lived in Pearlington. Her second husband was Andrew Dorr. By Favre she had two children:
a.	Maude Favre - married David Murphy and lived in Pearlington. They had: James “Bunk,” Mary, and Rita.
b.	Rita Favre - married 1) Harold Jackson, 2) James Taylor, and 3) James Doyle and lived in Pearlington. By Jackson she had: Joyce, Harold, Arnold, Pete, and Mildred.
