Susie married John Albert Alsobrooks on Sept. 26, 1887 and they are buried in Pounds cemetery in Bogalusa, La.
Solomon was murde^sd for his paycheck by fellow workers at the St. Joe brick plant. They put his body on the tracks and it was run over by the train.
Reuben, Charles, Nancy and Solomon are buried in Turtleskin cem. on hwy. 607 with no gravemarkers.
Malvina married Raymond Mitchell in 1897.
Emma married first J. R. Mitchell in 1891 and then William Billy Mitchell in 1895. Born 1874 died 1959.
Reuben joined the Confederacy on Aug. 1, 1861 and got discharged on aug. 1, 1863. He was promoted twice and was a first sergeant at discharge. Brothers Robert and John joined at the same time.
They were in the Third Ms. Infantry under Colonel John B. Deason. Harriet McCarty lived her last "six month's in the Jefferson Davis mansion Beauvoir, as a Confederate Veterans widow. She went in on Sept. 6, 1926 and died on April 11, 1927.
