Reeves, New Orleans, La- RE: Examination of title to Part of lot 149, and all of Lot 160, First Ward, Bay 3t. _______Louis, Mississippi____________________ Dear Mr. and Mrs. Reeves:- Pursuant to your request we have examined the title to the above described property, and reporting thereon wish, to advise as follows: This land was duly entered out of the United States Government, and after various and sundry conveyances the title to said property became vested in one Louis Piernas on Nov. 19th, 1855. Thereafter on Aug. 5th, 1909, Henry J. Piernas conveyed his interest in said property as an heir of Louis Piernas, to Louis J. Piernas. On May 14th, 1923, the heirs of Louis Piernas conveyed said property to Mrs. A. Gragnon. On Oct. 22nd, 1923, the said Mrs. Gragnon conveyed said property to IS*s. Bernie R. Beason. Thereafter Mrs. Beason, joined by her husband, conveyed said property to C. K. Roe and Mary E. Roe, by deed dated Dec. 4th, 1924. On Dec. 29th, 1924, C. K. Roe, et ux, conveyed said property to Mrs. Bernie R. Beason, retaining therein a life e state? Thereafter, on August 12, 1926, C. K. Roe, et ux, conveyed the aforesaid retained life estate to Mrs. Bernie R. Beason. Thereafter, on Dec. 28, 1926, Mrs. Bernie R. Beason, et vir, executed a deed of trust on said property to secure the payment of a note. The note so secured not having been
