The pilgrimage of homes on Mississippi’s sunny Gulf Coast is sponsored by the Mississippi Gulf Coast Council of Garden Clubs. In addition to the numerous homes and gardens open for tour, visitors will enjoy Gulf Marine and Buccaneer State Parks, Fort Massachusetts on Ship Island, Marine Life in Gulfport, Six Gun Junction in Biloxi, the Shrimp Tour Train, Ingalls Shipbuilding in Pascagoula, the National Space Technology Laboratory near Bay St. Louis and numerous other recreational and educational attractions.

Special Attractions
Refreshments will be served at the garden centers in Bay-Waveland, Long Beach and Biloxi and at St. Mark’s Church in Gulfport. Lunch will be available at the Bay-Waveland Yacht Club for $4.50 through advance reservations, P.O. Box 367, Bay St. Louis, MS 39520.
Other events will include a flower arrangement exhibit at the Long Beach Garden Club; an arts and crafts show in the Pass Christian Library; an art exhibit in the Old Carriage House in Biloxi; and band music and Biloxi’s Dalmation Dancers and Singers in costume performing at Gulf Marine State Park, Highway 90, between 2 and 4 o’clock on April 8.

Tour Information
Admission is free to all Pilgrimage activities.
BAY-WAVELAND: Information and maps will be available at the Garden Center, 114 Leonhard Avenue. Seven homes and gardens will be open from 10 until 5
o	’clock.
LONG BEACH: Three homes featuring early American antiques, a sunken garden room and balcony views of the Gulf will be open from 1 until 4 o’clock.
GULFPORT: Four gardens, a colonial-style home, the Old Courthouse and historic St. Mark’s Church will be open from 1 until
5	o’clock. Maps and information will be available at the St. Mark’s Parish House.
BILOXI: Beauvoir, Jefferson Davis’ last home, will be open to the public free of charge, between 1:30 and 4:30 o’clock, Friday,
