The Hattiesburg Area Historical Society’s annual Heritage Tour blends the Hub City’s turn of the century railroad-timber heritage with current trends. Selected private homes and buildings are opened to encourage appreciation of the city’s past, to show applications of the past to the present, and to give inspiration for the future.
Special Attractions
The Hattiesburg Area Historical Museum at the Saenger Center in downtown Hattiesburg will be open during both tours. It is also open on other special occasions and by appointment. Admission is free.
A driving tour will be marked with numbered signs during March.
