The Race Committee requests everyone’s help to insure that the skippers and crews enjoy the most favorable sailing conditions possible. The spectator deck of the B.W.Y.C. is ideal for viewing the competition due to the proximity of the race course to the club. Spectator boats must not approach a racing yacht any closer than the official patrol craft identified by its GREEN flag or a Coast Guard Auxiliary flag. Its operator is highly experienced in regatta control. Spectator boats are required to observe special regulations as posted. Normally a 200 yard interval from the racing marks and Flying Scots will be adequate. Please bear in mind that the smallest wake or wind shadow could result in an unfair disadvantage to a competitor. Your assistance will be appreciated. Thank You The Race Committee
