6.	AFTERNOON HEADQUARTERS, 720 Beach Blvd. Maps, brochures and .trolleys available. Listed in the National Register of Historic Places, this home was built in 1836 by cotton planters from the Delta. Well known for its 10 foot wide galleries supported by 2-story box columns. Grasslawn is now owned by the City of Gulfport and operates as a museum. Don't miss a special tulip garden south of the fence facing the Gulf. This garden is a gift of 1,997 tulips from Van Zyverden of Meridian and arranged through the Consulate General of the Netherlands. This is a project of the City of Gulfport Department of Leisure Services. The Gulf Coast Community College, Perkinston Campus Music Department performs with background woodwinds, brass ensemble and a roving street band under the direction of David Duitt and Assistant Director, David Allen. 7.	GREAT SOUTHERN COUNTRY CLUB, East Beach. This American Colonial Club House, built in the early 1900's, served amateurs and famous golfers including President Woodrow Wilson, Sammy Sneed, Byron Nelson, and Patty Berg. In those early days a first class grill and a cool drink enticed golfers to replay their shots on one of the most scenic courses in the South. Through the years the vaulted ceiling ballroom has been a favorite setting for receptions, reunions and other socials. Renovations are underway to preserve this unique attraction. 8.	HOME OF CHRISTOPHER, CAROL & SEAN DOUGLAS, 1828 Beach Blvd. Originally built as a 1 level house in 1905 this beachfront home underwent a major 2 year expansion and restoration in 1986. The unique original floors are oak with an inlaid cherry design. All fireplaces were removed, reworked and returned to their original location with mantles intact. Dramatic cathedral ceilings are throughout the main level of this Louisiana Plantation Style home. One of the most panoramic views of the Gulf is available from the wide veranda which surrounds three sides. Hostesses: Four Seasons Garden Club.
9.	HOME AND GARDENS OF BETSI AND JOHN BURGESS, 1238 East Beach Blvd. This beachfront stucco house was built in 1924 by wealthy lumberman, G. B. Dantzler and bought in 1954 by the Fabachers, noted founder of Jackson Brewery in New Orleans. It is on the National Register of Historic Places. Its mission style and unaltered appearance are an architectural rarity on the Coast and in Mississippi. Note the curved doors and moldings, the roof-garden patio, beveled-glass doors and alabaster fireplaces. A second floor office houses a collection of trophies won by Mr. Burgess and the crew of INSIGHT", his 36' racing sloop. Hostesses: Bayou Oaks and Bayou View Garden Clubs and the "INSIGHT" crew.1

1.	HEADQUARTERS - HISTORIC LOUISVILLE AND NASHVILLE DEPOT, 1000 Washington Ave. Maps, brochures, trolleys at Chamber of Commerce office in Depot. OPENS AT 8:30 A.M.
2.	REPLICA OF FORT MAUREPAS, Front Beach between Jackson and Washington Ave. Site of yearly reenactment of 1699 landing of Pierre Lemoyne Sieur de'Iberville. Fort Maurepas Society will be in period dress. OPEN: 8:30 - 10:30.
3.	HOME OFDEDEE AND DOUG GULLEY, 219 Washington Ave. in the historic district of old Ocean Springs. Built in the late 1940's on the site of the turn of the century Pines Hotel; began as a small cottage, but has grown over the years into a home of southern elegance with the French influence. A blend of oak and brick floors, enhanced with oriental rugs beckons you into the formal living and dining rooms, with original brick fireplaces and an antique chandelier from a Natchez plantation gracing the dining room. The home also includes a gourmet kitchen, cozy his and her study and family room. Hostesses: Dogwood Garden Club. OPEN: 10:00 - 1:30.
4.	ST. JOHN'S EPISCOPAL CHURCH, comer of Porter and Rayburn. Construction began in late 1891; built of yellow leaf pine, the Church has withstood hurricanes and erosions of time. Additional construction has been done over the years, most recently in 1995 when the old cedar shake roof was replaced with copper which will "green" to return the roof to its original color. Hostesses: Church Women and Gulf Hills Garden Club. OPEN: 10:00 - 1:30.
5.	HOSPITALITY CENTER - OCEAN SPRINGS MUNICIPAL LIBRARY, 525 Dewey Ave. is the oldest continuing library in Jackson County (dating back to 1925). The present building, built in 1955, is the anchor of the city government complex. Refreshments and maps. Hostesses: Friends of the Library, Day Lily and Ocean Springs Garden Clubs. OPEN: 10:00 -1:30
6.	HOME OF NANCY AND LARRY BREWER, 3542 Courtenay Circle in Fort Bayou Estates (north of Ocean Springs Hospital). The Brewers collect American antiques, as well as collectibles from various countries in Europe and the Middle East. Nancy is a talented sculptor and specializes in Santas and Wise Men. The living and dining rooms are decorated for Christmas to display her sculpting talent. Hostesses: Ocean Springs Garden Club. OPEN: 10:00 -1:30.
7.	HOME OF KAY AND DR. ALBERT DIAZ is situated on 60 acres of horse training land just 3.2 miles North of the Ocean Springs Hospital on the Ocean Springs-Vancleave Road. Floored with Carerra Italian marble and Honduran mahogany, the house also features chandeliers that Dr. and Mrs. Diaz purchased during European travels, and a boat lift designed by Dr. Diaz. The master suite features a wrought iron bed and a mantle, both designed by Mrs. Diaz. Hostesses: Day Lily Garden Club. OPEN: 10:00 -1:30.
8.	WALTER ANDERSON MUSEUM, 510 Washington Ave. The Museum opened in May 1991 and showcases more than 150 pieces by the famed Ocean Springs artist, woodcarver and naturalist. Special exhibits are often on display in this beautiful building flooded with light. This unique contemporary structure adjoins the Ocean Springs Community Center, which features an around-the-room mural by Walter Anderson. Hostesses: Gulf Hills Garden Club. OPEN: 10:00 - 1:30.
