Enrolled No. 70, Apr. 2, 1852, New Orleans, owner John Bradford; master not listed; Enrolled No. 95, May 1, 1852, New Orleans, owners Wm. Blackeney and John Bradford; master not listed. BLOOM, Capt.
•	1877 - On last Saturday Capt. Bloom, of the Indianola, and Capt. Jorgensen, of the Inez Houston, were up before Squire Chidsey for violating the latter part of Sec. 2 of the quarantine regulations, which did read that "all vessels from healthy ports, with clean bills of health, shall proceed to the usual anchorage, and there await the quarantine physician", etc. After hearing the evidence and several speeches, Judge fined the captains $25 each. An appeal was taken. DStar, July 6, 1877.

BODDEN, Capt. W. L.
•	1920 - The Schooner Griffin, which went aground off the west end of Petit Bois Island on Wednesday of last week is reported to be breaking to pieces and hope of floating her is deep water has been abandoned by her owner. The Griffin was in command of Capt. W. L. Bodden and was homeward bound from Havana, when she grounded during the hazy weather. The Griffin is owned by Mr. A. F. Dantzler of this city. PC, May, 1920
