Sixth Generation
61.	Evelyn Louise Bell (Lelia Fayne Stiller, Gertrude Margaret Dom, Christian Leopold, Leopold,) was bom on 25 Oct 1934 in Poydras, St. Bernard Parish, Louisiana.
My parents and I moved to LaSalle Terrice, Chalmette, Louisiana in 1940. Daddy and Mama tore an old house down and used the timber to build the new house. The old house was located in Braithwaith, La. Daddy first built a garage and we lived in it until the house was finished enough to live in.
I	attended Meraux School in Chalmette, Louisiana for two years. I attended first and second grade.
When I was seven and one half years old, April 1942, we moved to Duck Hill, Mississippi to Daddy's farm (320) acres. This place was owned by my grandfather, James Randolph Bell, purchased in November 1897. It has been in our family since it was purchased by my grandfather. We lived in an old log house, which I loved. Daddy and Momma tore the old house down in 1959 and built a new one with a full basement in the ground. I hated to see the old house come down. I wanted Daddy to restore it, but he wanted a new one.
