Receiving with Mrs. Mogabgab were Mrs. Jos. R. Scharff and her house guest Mrs. Jos. Vaccaro, Jr., and Mrs. P. G. Rappold, Jr., The honoree was lovely in a dress of flesh net and gardinia corsage. The ladies in the receiving line wore summery gowns and gladlola cor-corsages in pastel shades. Gloria Mogabgab, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Mogabgab, whose engagement to Robert M. Dominy of East Hampton, N. Y., son of Charles M. Dominy and the late Mrs. Dominy, has been announced.

ENTERTAINS BRIDE-ELECT
Mrs. Joseph R. Scharif enter-. tained at her home in Carroll ave-. nue on Saturday afternoon honoring Miss Elaine Mogabgab who will be married in August to Rob-i ert Dominy.
The house was decorated in . spring flowers and in the dining ; room the lace covered table held i a center piece of white asters, j gladioli and white clematis with i maiden hair fern, in the center of which was a cupid holding a wedding ring. This was arranged by Mrs. Rhea Bonck.
An inverted white umbrella, under which the honoree sat, held the gifts and the hostess pulled the ribbon which showered the gifts upon her.
Miss Mogabgab wore a trousseau gown of white with a matching hat. The hostess served a plate with an iced punch.

AWAITED
Bay St. Louis' social world is on j tiptoe waiting for the many weddings 1 to be celebrated here this week.
On Saturday there will be that of l Miss Christine Fairchild to Paul I David Magriel and which will be celebrated at the Episcopal Church. This wedding will be very simple and very quiet with only the family and a very few close friends present.
On Sunday morning there will be the Colson-Lamer nuptials which will be celebrated at St. Claire?s Chapel at Waveland when Miss Elaine Lamer of Waveland will become the bride of Joseph Colson of this city, at 8 A. M.
On Sunday evening at 7 P. M. at the Methodist Church Miss Elaine Mogabgab will become the bride of Mr. Robert Dominy. This will be quite a large wedding with Miss Mogabgab in bridal array and a re- | ception following the ceremony.
