INDIAN BALL PLAY One of those interesting incidents in the pastimes of the Indian occurred at Neshoba, Miss., on the l*+th of July (18^5) •
The parties were the Bogue Chittos and the Muckalushas.
There were about one thousand Indians present and the same number of whites. The game was won by the Bogue Chittos, The Muckalushas were very sanguine of success, ind staked a large amount of their property on the issue.
It was, says the ’’Jackson Reformer," as is usually the case, a most•exciting time.
