THE BAY-WAVELAND YACHT CLUB is already look-in”- forward to the celebration of its Seventh Annual Regatta. Ever since the erection of the Club House, and the inauguration of these regattas the succeeding years have shown a decided increase in the interest among the members of the organization, in addition to showing a gratified increase in the membership. Bay-Waveland Yacht Club House located out in the water near the center of the town of Bay St. Louis is one of the handsomest equipped and prettiest of club houses in the South; it reflects great credit upon the old time members, who were instrumental in its erection. This season's regatta promises to be a greater success than ever; larger crowds are expected and the indications are that a greater number of boat* will be entered in the various classes. Commodore; L. H. Fairchild, Vice-Commodore; J. B. Dunbar, Rear Commodore; E J. O’Brien. Secretary; Richard Mendes, Treasurer; John A. Rawlins. Fleet Captain and Dr. R. J. Turner, Fleet Surgeon. The regatta committee is composed of T. J. Lanaux and E. L. Pinac.
E. L. Pinac is one of the original members of the Bay-\\ ave-land Yacht Club, ha vim: served for years as a member of the Regatta Committee. Mr. Pinac has always taken a keen interest in yachting affairs and while residing in Xew Orleans was an active member of the Southern Yacht Club.

Mr. Maze rut is credited with being one of the first of the Xew Orleans contingent to establish summer homes on the Gulf Coast. He has served with credit as an Alderman. He is one of the leading cotton brokers of Xew Orleans. During the life of the Confederacy. Mr. Maze rat made a splendid record as a member of the Twenty-third Louisiana Regiment. He was wounded in the seige of Viek«burg. He is the President of that exclusive social organization known as the R. A. C.
Ei’GEXE Dupre is one of the prominent members of the Bay-Waveland Yacht Club, and the owner of a number of fine motor launches, namely: the Admiral Dewey and the Marguerite. He is a prominent dealer in shingles and brick. lie also conducts a successful lively business, and is the proprietor of the Gulf Beach Hotel and Cottages.
- L. A. de Monti.i"/an is one of the organizers of the Bay-Waveland Yacht Club. lie has been a resident of Bay Sf. Louis since 1874. He is a graduate of tin* University' of France. Mr. de Montluzin is a stockholder in the Hancock County Bank, and is the leading druggist of Bay St. Louis.
