WALTER ANDERSON MUSEUM
510	Washington Ave., Ocean Springs The museum opened in May 1991 and showcases more than 150 pieces by the famed Ocean Springs artist, woodcarver and naturalist. This unique contemporary building, flooded with light also houses the "Little Room" which was moved intact from Walter Anderson's home and studio at Shearwater Pottery. A special exhibit features "Hamlet and Beyond". Be sure to visit the "Healing Garden" in front of the museum which was created by the Ocean Springs Garden Club to commemorate the City's 300th birthday. Hostesses: Gulf Hills Garden Club

1.	"LIGHTHOUSE POINT", Home of Patsy and Gene Walet, 717 Sandy Hook Drive. This waterfront home located at the northern top of the Isles on the Bay of St. Louis and the entrance to Bayou Mallini was designed by Gene and built to capture the view of the setting sun and the moonrise from within the spacious great room without leaving one's chair. Since Gene is a lifelong racing sailor, their furnishings include pictures of sailboats, original ships hatch cover tables, lighthouses and other nautical memorabilia. Patsy has combined their family's antiques with warm accessories of embroidered linens crafted by her mother and crocheted bed covers by Gene's grandmother.
2.	HOME OF JOANNE AND JOHN CURREN, 623 Sandy Hook Drive. This four bedroom three bath home is designed with the feel of a French cottage. The great room adjacent to a screened porch has 10 foot beaded board tongue in groove
ceilings, 8 1/2" heart pine board floors remilled from old warehouse beams found in Jackson, Mississippi. The kitchen/ dining area has a decorative ship motif, ceramicfaced fireplace that adds to this light filled living area. A large master suite with adjoining bath features a Jacuzzi tub, dressing area and French doors leading to a porch with a view of the bay.
3.	ANNIE'S, an institution since 1928 on Henderson Point.
Uniquely decorated with many copper barrels from breweries and copper vats from dairies in the Midwest, the lounge also features seats made from vats with one huge vat over the bar. The dining room has a ceiling shelf lined with hand carved duck decoys and a large open fireplace. A collection of huge bells in the courtyard have pealed for many special occasions. Owned by Annie Lutz this restaurant has been a second dining room for down home food for generations of Mississippi Gulf Coast residents and visitors. Annie's has remained a popular eating establishment through many calamities.
