said that Margarete, Paul, Catherine, and Atwood died young. Joan was legally adopted at age 7 by her great-uncle, Frank Riehlmann.
B.	George Valentine Riehlmann - bom in the year 1890 according to George's son, Joseph F. Riehlmann of 5862 Fleur Delis Dr., New Orleans, LA. His father was born in Bogue Chitto, MS and married Annie Burke in New Orleans and had the following children: Leonard, George, Elaine, Joseph Francis, Margaret Mary, Rita Rose, and Bernard. Leonard and George died young ,and most of the others live in or around New Orleans, LA. Joseph told us that his father and grandfather were Presbyterians.
C.	Frank Alphonse Riehlmann - he told us he was bom on March 1, 1893 in Bogue Chitto. He has a fairly good memory and told us much information. He said he had the old Riehlmann Bible and records, but Joan High now has them. He never married but went with a woman for years. He died May 1976 in Gretna, LA.
III.	Frank Riehlmann - his adopted daughter, Joan Helmstetter (Mrs. Frank T. High living in Harahan, LA) told us that Frank was bom on September 18, 1865 in New Orleans. The 1880 census of Pike Co. shows him born in the year 1866 which is reasonably close to what Joan said. She also told us that he died in New Orleans, LA on December 22, 1951 at age 86. He is buried in the Masonic Cemetery there. Joan said he married twice in New Orleans, LA. First was to Alphonsene "Tina" Chaplain. He divorced her and married Almeda Marshall who was Frank's maid. Although Frank had no children, he adopted two. The second one was Joan Helmstetter already mentioned. The first and older of the two was a girl called Michelle who was bom in France. This girl was related in some way to Frank's first wife who was also from France. Frank and Tina went to France and brought the girl back to New Orleans, LA, and raised her. She was about 3 or 4 years old when they got her. Michelle's mother was suppose to be a sister to Tina and had just died in France. Joan told us that Michelle married (first name unknown) Dixon and had at least two children: Richard and Jack. She lived in Memphis, TN for a while then moved to St. Louis, MO. Frank owned and operated a Pawn Shop on Rampart St. in New Orleans. When he died, Joan got everything, and we were told this caused some disturbance in the family. We have a photograph of Frank that was given to us by Frank Seitz in 1974.
IV.	Catherina “Katie” Riehlmann - Katie's daughter, Cecelia, told us most of the following information. She said Katie was bom on February 18, 1868 and died in New Orleans on December 6, 1941. The 1880 census of Pike Co., MS, indicated she was bom in (or around) the year 1868, thus Cecelia's information is probably correct. She said Katie is buried in “Cypress Grove Cemetery," (we presume this is in or near New Orleans), and she has a headstone. Cecelia also said her mother married three times. First to (first
