we have John Mayers, age 62, and wife, Eva with no other Mayers listed. In the other Stillwater cemetery, the Hart Cemetery, we find buried a John Myers, died December 4, 1822 at age 63 years, 1 month, 17 days. Buried next to him is his wife, Mary, and what appears to be a son, Melancton W. Myers, and his wife. Also buried in the Hart Cemetery are Isaac Myers, born March 18, 1784 and died August 2, 1859 and his wife, Dorcas, died August 3, 1843, at age 60. These are no doubt related to our Myres and will require more research. In the 1820 Census of Stillwater, Saratoga Co., NY, we find "Isaac Meyors" with four people in this household - two males under age 10, one male 26-45 and one female, age 16-26. Both of these adults fit perfect with our Isaac 2nd and his wife Elizabeth. Neither of the two young males can be our Isaac Myres, Jr., for he was not born until 1835. In this same census and city is another "Isaac Meyors" with ten individuals in his household. The oldest male was over 45 in 1820. Also living nearby is an Adolph Meyors, John Myros, and a second Adolph Meyors, all with families. In the 1810 census of Stillwater, we find "Isaac Myers, over age 45" with three other males and two females in the house. There is also living nearby "John Myres", over age 45 with a family. No other Myres are found in the 1790 or 1800 census of this area. Who the father of our Isaac Myres is, we can not say. We are sure it is one of the above, but more research will have to be done to take this line any further back. Isaac Myres Jr's mother was Elizabeth Mabb as found on her son's military records. She was born around 1793 based on various census records as already discussed. She came to Stillwater from neighboring Schaghticoke, Rensselaer Co., NY with her husband and son in 1845. She appears in the census of 1850, 1855, 1865, 1870, and last in the 1875 New York State Census. She apparently died after 1875 and before the 1880 census was conducted, for she never shows up again. She is probably buried next to her husband in an unmarked grave in the Stillwater Union Cemetery. We will put her date of death around 1878. We found several Mabb families in the area of New York as early as the 1730's, in several censuses, church, and military records. One clue can be found in the 1820 census of Stillwater, NY where we have our "Isaac Meyors, 2nd" living next door to "Robert Mab". This "Mab" home had one male, age between 26 and 45, one female, between 16 and 26, and two females under age 10. In the same year in Schaghticoke, Rensselaer Co., we have John Mabb with one male over 45, and one female over 45. Could these be Elizabeth Mabb's parents? There are more Mabb's in later censuses and records. How they relate to our Isaac Myres, 2nd we can not say, but we are sure they are related. Parents of Warren Edward Seeley Grandma Margaret Woodward told us her father's father was Henry Seeley. He died before she was born, and is buried in Rock City Falls 18
