Charred remains of Our Lady of the Gulf Church - November 1907
St. Joseph Chapel on Dunbar and Blakemore, our mission church of over a hundred years old, was completely destroyed by Hurricane Katrina on August 29, 2005.
Due to the lack of priests, the Chapel was officially closed in January 2004.
