was duly puDBsHO^In ne Boa Coast Echo, a weekly newspaper published in the City of Bay St. Louis and having a general circulation therein, being the official jonmal, for three weeks, as provided by law, as will fully and at large appear by reference to the proof of publication of said notice on file with the records and archives of said city.
And whereas three weeks have elapsed ,since the date of the first publication of "Md notice of the intention and purpose ■’to issue bonds to the amount of Five Thousand Dollars for the purpose of greeting- a city hall and jail therewith, and no persons or tax-payers of the municipality of the said City of Bay St| Louis having protested or petitioned against the issuance of said bonds, therefore:
Be it ornained by the Board of Mayor and Aldermen of the City of Bay St; Louis:
Section 1. That Five Thousand Dol* lars of the bonds, of said City be issued as follows:
Sec. 2. The said bonds shall be issued in denominations of One Hundred Dollars each, numbered from one to fifty, dated at Bay St. Louis, Mississippi, and bearing interest at the rate of five per cent per annum, payable annually on the first day of September of each year upon presentation of the interest coupons. The said bonds shall mature ten years after date,but they shall contain a stipulation providing that the City of Bay St. Louis may at its option call in, pay off and cancel the whole or any part of said issue, at any time after the expiration of five years from date of issue. Said bonds shall be issued on, and bear date of, September 1st, 1905,1 shall be signed by the m?yor and city! treasurer and have the corporate seal of j said City affixed; and shall not be sold; for less than par, and in ease any of said bonds shall be sold after September 1st, 1905, they shall not be sold for less than par and accrued interest to the date of sale.
Sec. 3. Be it further ordained, that the proceeds of the sale or sales of said bonds shall be used and applied for the erection, construction and furnishing of a City Hall and Jail therewith for the City of Bay St. Louis on Second street and Railroad avenue.
Sec. 4. Be it further ordained, that it shall jpe the duty of the Mayor and the City Secretary to procure said bonds to be engraved and said bonds shall be in the following words ana figures, to-wit: No.......	$100.00

Section 1. That the city seen salary is hereby amended, so as t as follows: That the city secretar; not receive more than $360.00 p num, instead of the amount here appearing in the city charter.
