The first session was an orientation and tour of the Boardman Avenue Playhouse and instruction on basic stage directions, theatre history and other background material.
For a make-up workshop, Bernard brought in several assistants and showed children basic stage make-up techniques as well as sneak previews of some of the characters in the play.
