Thank our Bucks-Mont Mends
Tuesday was a tremendous day for	the
Bucks/Mont in Hancock County. As it was the celebration of the opening of the Hancock County	Child
Development Center, Highway 603 at 11 a.m., the 2 p.m. re-dedication of the Tercenterary Park next to Hancock Bank, Beach Blvd., Bay At. Louis, and the 4 p.m. Ground Breaking of the Hancock County Animal Shelter on Lower Bay Road, near Port Bienville Industrial Park.
These three major projects come to Hancock County from the gracious financial support from the folks of Bucks and Montgomery Counties, Pennsylvania, in addition to numerous volunteers since hurricane Katrina.
These are not the only ■*' Bucks/Mont projects in our area as there has been some 15 or so to come our way. We all need to

be mindful of all the great things the people of Bucks/Mont has done and are doing for our recovery.
A big thanks to each and everyone of you.
You do not want to forget the Hancock County Chamber of Commerce's March Business After Hours, Thursday, March 15, 5 to 7 p.m.
The location is 837 Highway 90, Bay St. Louis. Joint sponsors are Uptown Interiors, Shoe Boutique, AOK, Biz-Zee Bee, Suite A? Inc. and Prestige Title.
In keeping witli a St. Patrick's theme, there will be Lazy Magnolia
'Green Beer.'
Snacks will be catercd by Neil's, sp there will be some good refreshments and snacks.
The Business After Hours is a great time for chamber members and guests to network, greet old friends and make new acquaintances.
We hope to see you at the After Hours. I have a feeling that Ames and Frank will be there too.
It is going to be very interesting to see what size of a Criminal Justice Facility Hancock County will come up with since they have received the work from FEMA declared the former facility received only 38-per-
ccnt-damage from Katrina.
Many local folks felt the destruction was above 50% from the big storm.
Since I have received no specific date from anyone when the Hancock	County
Criminal Justice Facility held its grand opening, I went back to our archives to get the actual date.
It so happened that Mississippi	State
Supreme Judge .). Ruble Griffin was the emcee for the ceremonies, (he resided in Bay St. Louis as he was a practicing attorney here and was elected a Circuit Court Judge before being named to the state supreme court). He had used my editorial on the jail, 'word for word for the grand opening and dedication on Friday, March 20, 1987.
