1.	GAUTIER GARDEN CLUB PRESENTS "SOUTHERN TRADITIONS" at the Old Place. The flower show will feature floral exhibits shown in pottery containers made by local craftsmen, including Singing River Originals of Gautier
-	displayed at the Gautier site of the first and 50th Pilgrimages, The Old Place. Built in 1867 by the town's founder, Fernando Upton Gautier, who used heart pine and cypress from his family-run sawmill to build his spacious West Indies style home. The home is still owned by his great grandson, Hermes Quin Gautier, Sr. whose son Quin, Jr. manages LaMaison Gautier, a traditional site of weddings and parties since Hermes and Hattie Gautier acquired the beautiful acreage in 1937. Located south of Hwy. 90, at the bridge in Gautier.
2.	THE HOME OF LINDA LEE, 3422 Pascagoula St. Pascagoula. This house was built in 1880 and is included on the National Historical Register. In 1927, a large portion of Pascagoula was consumed by an out-of-control fire which burned to the edge of thexhouse. Fire trucks were summoned from as far away as MobilesAlabama tr/extinguish the blaze. During World War II, housing, was >go scarce three families rented the house simultaneouslV/Linda Lee purchased the home in 1973 from Dr. Hayles, a'cniropractor whose business was in part of the house. Entering floe foyer, please note the mahogany tongue in groo/e ceiling trimmed in gold plaster and wood. The living ropm contains a coal-burning fireplace which has the original/mantle and ceramic tile. Mrs. Lee has done extensive renovations. 3.	THE HOME OF MR. AND MRS. DENNIS DALE WOOD, 5125 Weems St. Moss Point. This charming home was built in the 1940's for the family of Leonard Kinross McIntosh. The living and dining rooms' crystal light fixtures are original to the house. As part of a 1960's renovations, a den of cypress, brick, and glass, a secluded brick courtyard, ornate crown molding, architectural trim and a delightful mural by Mellisia Dagget in the dining room, were added. Furnished with French, English, and American antiques, the home also contains a large print by one of Becky Jolly Woods ancestors which once hung in the Pennsylvania State Capitol Rotunda. 4.	JACKSON COUNTY WELCOME CENTER, located on 1-10 one mile west of the Alabama State Line. Built in 1983 as a replica of a Colonial style southern mansion, opened to the public in 1984 and averaging 690,000 visitors per year, this is the busiest center in the State. As you enter the foyer, there are double parlors furnished in period antiques, a wood-burning fireplace and a free standing spiral staircase. home to get away from the "fever". The house is constructed of hand hewn pine and cypress timbers held together by wooden pegs and feature?period furnishings. The 10' wide galleries are supported hy wooden balustrades with balusters of triangular design - Grass Lawn's trademark. The porches surround the house both upstairs and downstairs. 2.	ST. PETER'S BY THE SEA EPISCOPAL CHURCH, 1912 East Beach Blvd. The church, organized in 1899, became a parish in 1902. Its present location is the third home it has occupied. This unique design (dubbed "Gulf Coast Gothic" by its designers, Barron and Toups) makes excellent use of natural light and features eight memorial stained glass windows depicting scenes from the life of St. Peter. The church features round windows by designer Andrew Cary Young which contain symbols of St. Peter. The general contractor was George P. Hopkins.
