Ambrose to address Historical Society
The Hancock County Historical Society will present an address by the highly acclaimed author and scholar Stephen E. Ambrose Sunday, Sept. 20 at the Waveland Resort Inn.
Ambrose?s numerous works are all noted for their thorough research and accuracy of detail. He has written several books on various aspects of World War II as well as biographies of Presidents Dwight D. Eisenhower and Richard M. Nixon.
Admission is fee and the public is invited to enjoy this rare opportunity to hear a speaker of such magnitude in our city.
The meeting will begin at 4 p.m. followed by dinner (optional) at 5. The menu offered will be salad, pork tenderloin with hot mustard sauce, potatoes au gratin, vegetable and dessert for $7. For dinner reservations, call 467-8201.
