We have received word this week from members of The Hancock Food Pantry about need of food donations.
An increase in the number of people applying for food has cause this shortage.
The Food Pantry receives food and donations from community churches as well as from other sources such as the Hancock County United Way.
If you feel you can help, canned foods of any types can be used.
If you would like to make a food contribution, you can do so at the new location in the old Hancock County Jail at the back of the courthouse from 8 a.m. to noon Monday through Friday.	j
