The interior has a true Southern style, featuring a grand staircase, 12 foot ceilings, scored concrete floors and open rooms with walls of glass to the outside. CLOWER - THORNTON NATURE AREA, Railroad Ave. - 3 Blocks East of Hewes Ave. This area was donated to the Garden Clubs of Mississippi, Inc. in 1986 by Mrs. Ada Clower Yates in memory of her parents, J.C. and Mary Thornton Clower. In 1994, Coffee Creek Woodlands was donated by Mr. And Mrs. A.C. Hutto, Sr. in memory of their family. Recently a wetland meadow was donated by Mrs. Robert McManus. Visitors traverse trails marked with shredded plant material, cross over a dry creek bed on a picturesque foot bridge and proceed to wetland habitats, a fern grotto and a lovely white sandbar. 5.	GARDENS OF GAY GRAVES, 16 Bayou View Dr. Gay likes to think of her garden as a "cottage garden". She enjoys growing roses and perennials as well as citrus and according to Gay, whatever else "catches my eye". Orchids grow in the conservatory at the rear of the house in the winter and hang in the Oak trees along the Bayou in summer. Gay loves to share her garden and plants with friends and visitors. 6.	HOME AND GARDENS OF MR. AND MRS. JOE MELVIN, 3 Shady Oaks Lane, Bayou Oaks. This elegant custom home, completed in July 2000, is classically detailed and traditionally styled with rich architectural features such as gracious porches, columns, and arched entryways. Soft lighting and natural sunlight from floor to ceiling windows wash signature custom trim moldings and genuine granite and iron appointments. A luxurious cascading waterfall and pool with tropical landscaping invite a relaxing retreat. Hostesses: Bayou Oaks Garden Club Hours: 1:00 p.m.- 4:00 p.m.
7.	HOME AND GARDEN OF LEE AND ROBIN CLEMENTS, 54 53rd Street Circle, Bayou View. This two story Colonial style brick home was bought by the present owners in 1994. The talented young couple have put many of their own artistic touches in the house, including faux finishes and glazes at the entrance, in the powder room and kitchen. The backyard has a sidewalk edged by Mexican Heather and a small pond with various lilies. The patio has a relaxing atmosphere and is filled with potted plants and accented by wrought iron lanterns. This 51-acre shrine, built circa 1852, was the last home of Jefferson Davis, the only President of the Confederacy. Beauvoir houses, a Presidential library, a Confederate museum, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, an Arboretum, gardens established by Beach Garden Society, and many Davis family heirlooms. Beach Garden Society members will provide the floral arrangements throughout the house.

1.	BILOXI LIGHTHOUSE, Highway 90 at Porter Ave.
Erected in 1848, the Biloxi Lighthouse is reportedly the first cast metal lighthouse in the South. The light was civilian operated from 1848 to 1939, and is notable for its several female light keepers, including, Maria Younghans, who tended the light for 53 years. In 1939, the U.S. Coast Guard assumed responsibility for the light's operation. After being declared surplus property in 1968, the Biloxi Lighthouse was deeded to the City of Biloxi. 2.	GEORGE E. OHR ARTS AND CULTURAL CENTER, 136 G.E. Ohr St. A potter in Biloxi in the late 19th century, George E. Ohr described himself as "Unequaled, Unrivaled, Undisputed. The Greatest Potter on Earth." Many agree. On display at the Ohr Center is the largest permanent public exhibition of Ohr's work in the United States. The Ohr Center also houses three additional galleries with rotating exhibits from locally, nationally, and internationally recognized artists. Hostesses: Museum Staff
