What are the goals of the library ?
1.	To locate a more suitable facility, one that will allow us to grow and maintain a more secure environment for the collection. The Library would like to have larger quarters so it can continue to expand. We order new books and/or films every month. We are presently housed in a wooden building and would like to be in something more secure. At this time, the library is unable to purchase a building to house the collection because all monies are used to purchase resources to further enhance the collection.
Larger quarters would also enable us to sponsor and host seminars on the premises.
2.	To become the largest genealogy library in the deep south. In addition to striving to become the best collection available, we believe it is most important to preserve the rich history of the south and in particular the area in which we live.
3.	The library would like to be actively involved in preserving local records and history.
