Warner's two sons have apparently inherited her interest in art, a fact she notes with obvious pride and pleasure. Michael, who has a doctorate degree in chemistry and works in St. Louis, studies art as an avocation. John, a Lt. Commander in the U.S. Navy, is a cartoonist.
Warner is a former member of the Peninsula Art Association in Newport News, Va. and the Elmhurst Art Association of Elmhurst, 111. She is currently a member of the Gulf Coast Art Association and the Ocean Springs Art Guild.
