Series 680: Archives Nationales Transcripts - Miscellaneous (Unbound). 1906.
French Provincial Archives (RG 24).
Transcripts of various French documents in the Archives des Colonies series. Besides the large number of C13A transcripts comprising Series 679 (Archives Nationales Transcripts - Bound Volumes), this small group of transcripts from several series was also copied for the Mississippi Archives, and many of the items were translated and used in Mississippi Provincial Archives, French Dominion, Volumes I-V (MDAH Library Call No. 976.2, R79m, F, volumes 1-5).
Both original and negative photostat copies are included among these files. All items are in French with translations noted on pages 2-4.

In January 1997 the U.S. Library of Congress relayed the following statement concerning copying of Archives Nationales (Paris, France) materials:
Scholars may have photocopies of archival materials in the Archives Nationales, with two exceptions, providing the copying does not include an entire series or subseries. Copying of complete collections, series, or subseries by an individual or institution requires the written permission of the Archives Nationales or other agency holding the originals...
(The 2 exceptions, Archives de la Marine and Archives Privees require specific written permission.)
