Woodmen of the World Hall, now known as Century Hall, at 112 South Second Street, Bay St. Louis is a Vernacular Center Hall structure built around i909 (FEMA photos 2013). Woodmen of the World is a fraternal life insurance company founded in 1890.
St. Stanislaus College suffered a complete loss of all structures during a fire in June of 1903. The fir.e destraye<Lall of the wooden beachfront buildings, but the brothers and the students salvaged
•	',many"of the valuable items from the structures. Charles Sanger, noted builder for the city, won /' the contract to rebuild the school, which opened on the one year anniversary of the fire.
