Upon reflection, I decided to put the family information for which you have asked in the form of a letter. In that way, I can make a copy to use as an entry in my Journal.
Your grandfather, Edwin Douglas Osbourn, was the fifth child and second son of Douglas Saint Osbourn and Carrie Charlotte Crawford* He was born in Logtown,
MS on 15 Aug. 1890. He married Edna Indiana Toniasich here in Hancock County on 9 Jul. 1913. He passed from this life on 20 Dec. 1966.
Douglas Saint Osbourn was born in Florenceville, LA on 6 Mar 181*8. He died in Bay St, Louis, MS on 27 Nov 1925. He was the son of Jeremiah Osbourn &nd Margaret Crawford,
Carrie Charlotte Crawford was born in Indianvillage, LA. on 30 Jan. 1859. She died in Bay St. Louis, M3 on 21 May 1931. She was the daughter of William Crawford and Amanda Mayfield 0
Florenceville and Indianvillage were both tiny communities near Slidell, IA.
Grandmother Carrie and Grandfather Douglas were married in Pearlington, MS on 9 Feb 1879.
