(Merle) Matheny of Meridian, MS. In 1978 she was in possession of the old Allen Hudson Bible. The Bible has many names, dates, etc. We received the information via phone call, and we now wish we had gotten photo copies. The other was also a descendant named Hemple Ramsey, who married Joseph C. King and lived on Washington Road, Gulfport, MS. She was born in 1905 and very sharp at the time of our interview in 1978. The following is a compilation of these ladies information. Delila and Allen Hudson had the following children:
A.	Claudius Hudson - bom on December 6, 1844, died December 13,
1937,	and married Nancy “Louise” Walker. They lived last in Sumrall,
MS, and had: Loren Marvin, Alexander, Raleigh R., Edward C., and Daniel H.
B.	Charles Hudson - born July 2, 1846, and married first to Mary L. Bell and second to Henrietta Bennett. He lived in Gulfport, MS, and had a large family.
C.	William Hudson - bom January 31, 1848, and died February 27, 1848.
D.	Nancy Hudson - bom January 31, 1848, and died May 11, 1890. She married Elbert Miles and they lived in Saucier, MS.
E.	Harriet Jane Hudson - bom September 17, 1849, and died October 14,
1929. She married George Washington Walker and lived most of her life in Saucier, MS, but lived in Bogalusa, LA, last. She had the following: Florence, Sarden Richard, Andiron Decatur “A. D.”, Edna, Daniel Webster, Aquila Neal, Cora Iduma, Randal Robert, Allie Pearl, Henrietta, Eunice Roberta, George W., Jr., Harriet Eugenia, and Hugh Otis Walker. Cora married Wesley Knox Ramsey and lived in Saucier,
MS. Their daughter, Hemple Walker King was the source for much of this information.
F.	Sarah Elizabeth Hudson - bom July 30, 1851, and died on December
21,	1913, in Jasper County, MS. She married Baron Dekalb Alexander and had a large family.
G.	Alexander Hudson - bom November 3, 1853, and died on December 13,1937. He married Anna Hickman and lived in Sumrall, MS. They had: Frank, Norman, William, and Mary.
H.	Laura Frances Hudson - bom April 27, 1856, and died August 13,
1912. She married Shadrick M. Jacobs and lived in Lumberton. They had: Monroe, Charles Edward, James Boyd, Mary, Dixie, Ephraim,
Albert, Henry Howard, Houston, and Judson.
