THE BUTTERCUP?S FANTASY
Two little buttercups's growing by the roadside Lift their little heads to the traveler on his way Two little buttcrcups's flattened by the butterflies As they (lit along, on the summer day
Two little buttercups nodding at the eventide
Waiting for a kiss, from the twilight dew
Two little buttercups happy in their simple way
Blooming on the roadside for me and you
Two little buttercups bow their sleepy heads
When the summer day is through
Two little buttercups hoping when the sun beams shine
They will bloom again ncath skies of blue
A PRAYER
Dear God. in all your goodness and mercy,
Look down upon this troubled world which you created for us through divine love A world in which, the Paraclete and olive branch are symbols of peace Like Lucifer, man?s foolish pride and yearning for power, our shadowed, the love he once professed for you and his brother
Please God check the reins of these foolish ty rants lest they faithful flock be lost
Bless, our young President, for thrust upon his shoulders are the problems of peace and the
salvation of this troubled world
Enlighten the muddled minds of your unfortunate children who have drifted away from you and their fellow men
And who yearn for power, rather than the good of nations
Take the hand of this young man, our President and lead him through the trails before him
Keep his heart clean, understanding and fearless, above all fair in all his undertakings and decisions
Bless those who stand beside him in this ordeal and may all men raise their hearts in prayer to you
My God. so that we may have through your help lasting peace in the trials before him
Keep his heart clean and understanding and above all fair in all his decisions and undertakings
Bless those who stand with him in this ordeal
Last let not lust put into the hearts of all men
A deep and purest desire to pray for you our God, for guidance and lasting peace
Amen
