Mary Lou Stanford Insko Birdwell in Detroit, Michigan as found in the 1930 Detroit census. Pine’s headstone in Washington Parish shows he was born on April 17, 1911, and died January 20, 1970. Allen was told that his father was actually a “Miley,” but the family was reluctant to talk about it. He was also told that Pine had two other siblings. One was Theodore Stanford, who died on July 15, 1909, from “brittle bone disease” at age two, and the other was Lilly Mae Stanford, born April 16, 1913, and died in the fire with her mother in 1914. These children are listed in the previously mentioned Bible record, but there was no specific connection to Pine.
Pine Stanford married Vivian C. Mayhew, and they had: Catherine, Theodore, Barbara, Betty, and Struther “Allen” Stanford.
We found what appears to be this Sarah I. Stanford marrying Etienne
C.	Dranty in 1908 in Washington Parish, but no one remembers this person, and it is assumed she had no children by him. We also have some additional information in our files on this family if needed.
F.	Rebecca Ann “Annie” Stanford - bom in 1857 as taken from the 1860 Marion County census. Her headstone says she was bom April 6, 1852, and died on December 11, 1935. She married Isaac “Doc” Miley and lived in Washington Parish, LA. They had: Milton, Ida, Alonzo, Charley, Mary, Minton, and Joseph Miley.
G.	Martha Stanford - bom in 1859 as found in the 1860 Marion County census. She is also in the 1880 census with her father. She is probably the child that died young as told by John Stanford. No further information.
H.	Mary “Etta” Stanford - bom in 1861 as found in the 1880 Marion County census living with her father. She married James Gerald and has a headstone in Washington Parish, LA, that reads “1861 - 1899.” She had several children, and one was named Penny Gerald.
After this marriage, Joshua married a third time to Mary Ann Bullock, (October 9, 1834 - March 4, 1879), on June 13, 1868, as found in the record in Marion County. They had one son, Nathan Luther “Tack” Stanford. Mary Ann was previously married to Richard B. Pittman on November 19, 1848, and had six children by him. Richard Pittman was killed on September 20, 1863, during the Civil War in the Battle of Chickamauga. This information was supplied by Dr. Jewell Pittman, Tylertown, MS, and he got the dates from their old family Bible.
I.	Nathan Luther “Tack” Stanford - was bom on March 13, 1869, as found in the John Stanford, Jr. Bible. John Stanford, of Bogalusa, LA, told us that he heard his grandfather, Joshua Stanford, had a fourth wife who was a “Hunt,” and he had no children by her. No one else remembers this Hunt marriage. One of Nathan Luther “Tack” Stanford’s sons, Herbert Stanford, living near Poplarville, MS, told us his father had: Guy Curtis, Warren A., Julius C., Herbert M., Toxey H., Richard, Plummer R., Emmitt “Jim,”
