According to a Utah Ancestral Chart,	Toulme was bom in Nantes,
Dept, d'Loire, France in 1750* His son ^esm~B^tist^was bom either in Prance or Santo Domingo around (197?Z The TCulM'ei ami ly emigrated to the U.S. about 1812 following a native uprising in Santo Domingo in which they lost everything.
The two men were father and son. The date I960 is probably a typographical error.
Martha Carr Toulme was the first daughter-in-law of J.B. and first wife of John Victor (my grandfather). There is no proof that the Toulmes were originally Catholic, History of the era indicates a possible Huguenottbackground.
John Victor was bom August 1827, son of J.B. and Victoire Saucier.
He was married three times:
1.	Martha Carr-issue unknown to me
2.	Clementina Woodward Lyons (my grandmother) - issue:	a.	Sylvia
T. Gossard, mother of Albert Alvin Gossard (dec) and daughter Louise T. Gossard Bosshard. b. Mortimer, faither of 4 daughters three(dec) and Ellen still living in Illinois, c. Horace, father of 1 daughter Madeline T. Loehr living in Illinois, d. Maurice, father of 1 daughter Elizabeth T. Bien living in New Jersey.
3.	Maria Theresa Shannsy Toulme issue of Capt. J.V. Toulme (dec) no children
