OLD WORLD street lamps were a familiar sight in the 16th century. Mrs. Thelma Landry stands by an indoor-outdoor lamp which is a faithful reproduction of the original that they make, as shown at the left. A ROCKY HILL HUMBUG (at right) will listen to your troubles each morning as you rub his back. As you go happily along, he will sit and worry for you. One of his antennae must be higher than the other if he's to help you. Also, one of his feet must be raised. Humbugs come in small, medium, large and disaster sizes to fit the size of your troubles. These clever, handmade items of solid copper are becoming popular curiosity pieces. COPPER BOWLS are hand-hammered from four, six and eight inch copper discs the same way earliest metal workers made them. The Landrys use historically authentic patterns on old engraving dies and handshape the plates with tools they made, as shown at the lower right. A LADLE, part of a set for kitchen hanging, is being shaped from solid copper by Mrs. Landry in the shop (facing page). tfc* (S52H5I NOW!! SELLING DIRE |_?THE SODBUSTER 1
