14.	The February 9,1820, civil marriage record of Jean Bertrand Bourdages and Bernarde Amilhat names his parents as Pierre Bourdages and Josephe Fabaron. Her parents were named as Jean Francois Amilhat and Vincente Barrau.
15.	Mrs. Soubrier and other researchers in France (Geneanet.org) supplied additional research on our Bourdages family to include:
*	Jean "Bertrand" Bourdages died in Aulon on October 11,1849, and was the son of Jean "Pierre" Bourdages and Josephe Pierre Fabaron.
*	Jean "Pierre" Bourdages was born on March 1,1755, in Aulon and died on October 19,1816. He married Josephe Pierre Fabaron on February 25,1781, in Aulon. He was the son of Charles Bourdages and Francoise Caubet.
*	Josephe Pierre Fabaron was born in 1754, and died in 1828. She was the daughter of Laurens Fabaron (born August 1730 and died 1791) and Elisabeth Cazes (born 1732 and died 1797).
*	Laurens Fabaron's parents were Joseph Fabaron (died in Aulon on May 12,1740) and Marie Ducos (died in Aulon on April 17,1774).
*	Charles Bourdages was born on November 6,1707, in Aulon and died on January 4,1778, in Aulon. His parents were Etienne Bourdages and Gaudense Saux. Charles married Francoise Caubet on May 30,1740, in Aulon.
*	Francoise Caubet was born in 1723, and died on April 20,1790, in Aulon. Her parents were Dominique Caubet and Marie Jeanne Gares, and they married in April 1712 in Boussan, France, near the city of Aurignac.
16.	On pages 23 and 24 of our Bourdages History, we discuss a Philip Bordages that settled in Beaumont, Texas, and was distantly related to our Bordages family on the Mississippi coast. Sabine Soubrier has found his birth certificate that says he was born on November 31,1839, in Castillon,
France, a short distance from the village of Aulon. The record says his mother was Louise Bordages, born on December 11,1819, daughter of Louis Bordages and Jeanne Champreau who married on December 21,1815. Louis Bordages was born on August 22,1791, son of Jean Bordages and Jeanne Casse. On the birth record of Philip Bordages, the father was listed as "unknown." This could mean Louise Bordages had more than one possible father of her son, or the father was currently married to someone else, and the family did not want to expose him publically. Either way, it happened then as it happens today. Philip was a "love child' and went on to be a good and productive citizen in the US with many descendants.
