Samuel Ladner (Carlos Ladner) born Apr. 9, 1823, Hancock Co., MS.. Married about 1846 to Louisa Ladner. Louisa had two brothers, Polite and Seymor Ladner. X understand they came from France.
The 1850 Census Hancock Co., MS shews :
Samuel ladner aqe 23 - (Male)
Louisa Ladner aqe 18 - (Female)
As the areat western country opened up for settlers, Samuel and his younq wife, Louisa, along with his brother Nathaniel and her brother Polite ladner moved into Texas. They settled near Houston, Texas. I understand Samuel and louisa had one child.
Soon after, Samuel was stricken very sick and died. They buried him somewhere around Houston, Texas. Louisa then made preprations to leave Texas and come back to Mississippi. No other information available on this family.
